Mobile Technology
NeoMedia Technologies, a global leader in mobile barcode scanning solutions, worked with Kiersten to generate media visibility within North America to educate marketing professionals about the benefits of using interactive, mobile 2D barcodes, mobile couponing and video functionality in their marketing mix. The firm worked collaboratively with Trimedia, a UK-based firm and agency of record for NeoMedia responsible for European public relations initiatives. The U.S. program included news with Neustar, Sony Ericsson, BEMS, Mobile Tag and a legal settlement with competitor, ScanBuy. The program produced successful media tours, interviews and coverage in AOL's Daily Finance, Marketing Times and Mobile Commerce Daily, among others.
Currency Trading & OMS
GAIN Capital Group and FOREX.com, a leading online currency trading firm worked with Williams Consulting for nearly 9 years to reach both retail and institutional investors via an extensive media relations program. The strategy included content development and media outreach for technology innovations, investing strategies, breaking news, economic reports and education initiatives for investors to learn about the FX market and how to best trade it. The program produced sample, national and international media coverage in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The Associated Press, News Week, Reuters and Business Week with regular television appearances on CNBC, British Broadcasting Company (BBC), FOX News & FOX Business Channels and Bloomberg-TV, among others. Sample trade press coverage included Global Finance, FOREX magazine, SFO Magazine, FX&MM, Currency Trader, P&L, FX Week and Euromoney, to name a few.
INDATA, a software company providing technology solutions to asset management firms, registered investment advisors, wealth managers, pension funds and banks works with Williams Consulting to provide strategic messaging, media and analyst relations. Specifically, the firm develops commentary opportunities based on technology's role managing the regulatory, compliance, transparency and reporting requirement demands in the asset management industry. For nearly a decade, the program has successfully maintained relationships with key financial technology journalists, generated news and produced coverage in Wall Street & Technology, Securities Industry News (now Securities Technology Monitor), Pensions & Investments, Traders Magazine, Automated Trader, Investment News and Waters publications such as Buy-Side IT and Inside Market Data, among others. The program has produced coverage within important industry reports authored by financial technology analysts at top-tier firms such as Aite Group, The Tabb Group, Celent and Cutter Associates.
Apparel
Taylor Dresses, a contemporary women's dress firm and division of Siouni and Zar Corporation (Danny and Nicole), worked with Kiersten as an outsourced marketing department to develop corporate branding materials and generate corporate and business news for Taylor and the parent company, Danny and Nicole. In the span of six months, deliverables included complete photo shoot management of the Fall line – including all aspects from photographer selection to management of model 'go-sees,' development of a corporate brand story, creation of a Taylor branding book and Fall line look book, the creation of a Danny and Nicole licensing branding book for potential licensees and development of the Taylor website. International news coverage was generated including Yahoo!, Reuters and CNBC.com surrounding the launch of the firms' first eveningwear line and the firms' first-time ever QVC-UK participation. Moreover, company executives were introduced to media outlets such as WWD, Retail Merchandising Magazine and Daily Finance with product placement in Real Simple magazine.
Caffeine Culture, a young men's apparel company worked with Kiersten to execute a complete rebranding strategy. Working closely with executives, a branding strategy was successfully crafted and executed to establish co-branding relationships with east coast MMA events. Project management included photo shoots featuring MMA fighters and models; the development of a celebrity MMA training event series; the creation of a documentary film about amateur MMA; and the development of an MMA fight team to serve as Caffeine brand ambassadors. The program produced media exposure on "FOX Fight Game with Mike Straka" and on influential MMA blogs. In addition, Kiersten worked with licensing executives to develop and produce an innovative marketing package to assist in securing partnerships for this and other apparel brands.
